Rockies are in trouble

Every World Series game now is a must-win for the Colorado Rockies against the Boston Red Sox. The Rockies need to win four games in a row. They've done it before, not too long ago. But never against the Boston Red Sox. And never against a team as good as the BoSox. And the last two of those four games would be played at Fenway Park.

The standard cliche is to take it "one game at a time." That would focus on tonight's matchup between Jon Lester and Aaron Cook. To hell with the "one game at a time" garbage. That's simply not the case. The Rockies must win the next four games or they go home for the winter as proud National League Champions, but not World Series Champions. There's a huge difference. Either way, though, the Rockies should be proud of what they've accomplished this season and build on it for next year.

Again, it's not just one game at a time. It's four consecutive games that the Rockies must win against the Boston Red Sox.

ROCK ON! It's ROCKTOBER!
